Child safety standards

Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Version 1.0

Controller / Owner: XERRADA APP, address Palma de Mallorca, Illes Balears, Spain, email info@xerrada.app. Trade name: XerraDa.

1. Zero tolerance

XerraDa is an app for meeting people in Mallorca, for adults aged 18 and over only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for any content that sexualises minors.

These are the standards we publish and enforce. This page is public, available worldwide and cannot be edited by third parties.

2. What is prohibited

It is not allowed anywhere in the app (profile, photos, chat, voice notes or any other content):

When we detect this, we permanently close the account, preserve the evidence and, if there are signs of a crime, we report it to the authorities.

3. Adults only: how we check it

Signing up requires stating your date of birth and the server verifies the 18+ requirement: an account with a minor's date of birth cannot be created.

If we detect an account belonging to a minor, we close it and, if there are also signs of a crime, we report it to the authorities.

4. How to report inside the app

If you see something that worries you (for example, a profile that looks like a minor), you can report it in the app itself, for free:

The report is recorded with its date and its evidence, and the reported person does not know who reported them.

You can also email us at the contact address in section 7. If a minor is in immediate danger, contact the police in your country.

5. What we do with every report

We review reports within a maximum of 24 hours and, depending on the case:

6. Compliance and cooperation with authorities

We apply the rules that apply to us, including: Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography, the Spanish Criminal Code, Spanish Organic Law 8/2021 on the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

We cooperate with the police and judicial authorities that request it, and with the leading international organisations against child sexual abuse: the INHOPE hotline network and the NCMEC CyberTipline. In Spain, the online reporting channels of the Policía Nacional and the Guardia Civil.
