Moderation transparency

1. What this summary is

XerraDa publishes here a summary of the moderation measures applied over the last 12 months. These are aggregated and anonymous figures: they contain no personal data and cannot identify anyone.

Article 15 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (DSA) requires it: whoever runs a platform has to report what it has moderated.

2. These figures are NOT about you

This summary covers the whole community and never refers to a specific account.

If we take a measure against your account, we tell you and only you inside the app: Profile → Privacy and security → Moderation notices. There you see the measure, the reason and the 30-day appeal deadline.

3. Summary of the last 12 months

While there is no production data we do not publish figures: the app opens on launch day and the summary starts counting from then on. This page is updated every month.

Once there is data, this is exactly what will be published, always as absolute figures:

4. How to report

You can report from inside the app, free of charge and without the reported person knowing who reported them:

We review every report within 24 hours. If what you want to tell us does not fit in the app, write to info@xerrada.app.

5. How to appeal a measure

When we take a measure against an account, the affected person receives a notice in the app with the reason and the deadline: 30 days from the notification.

To appeal, write to info@xerrada.app explaining your case. We reply within 15 days and, if the appeal is upheld, the measure is reversed.

6. Contact and changes

Any question about moderation, privacy or your data: info@xerrada.app.

We will inform you of any substantial change. The current version will always be available at https://xerrada.app/en/transparency.
